Fiber optic network is developed to fulfill the ever increasing demand of network bandwidth. New communities are developed and constructed with fiber optic networking. Each home is connected with high quality and high speed fiber optic network to replace the aging ADSL. With the new digital highway in place, the digital surveillance system can provide high quality video and audio in real time. Although the cost of fiber optic network is higher for now, it will go down when it gets more popular.
