UniArgus CMS Version 2.4 to be Released in June
UniArgus Central Management System (CMS)
is a digital surveillance software platform that adopts open
architecture to deliver the most comprehensive security architecture
for enterprise level security operation. CMS offers high quality video,
high-efficiency preventative alerts and intelligent searches and
supports thousands of cameras and sensors.
UniArgus CMS V.2.3 has already offered a
complete solution of video monitoring, anti-intrusion, fire alarm and
entrance control management. It provides a seamless integration to
diverse surveillance devices which previously worked independently and
resulted in poor performance and high maintenance cost. With its
cascaded management technology, the headquarters can manage the whole
systems, track all surveillance events and monitor the critical video
while the remote personnel manage their servers locally. It takes
security system to the next level by expanding your ability to manage
today's most comprehensive requirements.
Following are some highlights in CMS V. 2.4.
Video recording on the management server
Video recording on CMS management server through its sub-servers is
supported. Video monitoring of its sub-servers on the management server
was already provided in CMS V.2.3.
- Multiple playback
Up to 16 video windows can be played back together and resynchronized at designated time.
- Screen split
49 and 64 screen splits are added. 1, 4, 9, 25 and 36 screen splits were already provided in CMS. V. 2.3.
- Encoding Server
Encoding server is provided to convert the video of Motion JPEG cameras
managed by CMS to Microsoft MPEG4 WMV format. Users can view the video
from the personal computers, PDA and 3G cellar phones that have Windows
Media Player installed.
- Streaming Server
CMS Encoding Server is integrated with Microsoft Windows 2003's
Streaming Server to support concurrent viewing of video. Over 1000
concurrent accesses are supported.
- Simultaneous video viewing and playback
Users can view the live video and search and playback historic video
simultaneously in two separated video windows.
- Camera icon in the electronic map
Eight angles
(0°/45°/90°/135°/180°/225°/270°/315°)
are available for users to adjust the angle of camera icon in the
electronic map. Users may adjust the icons to reflect the position and
angles of the cameras in the electronic map based on the physical
installation.
- Integrations of two new DVRs
IDIS' SDR-410 and TM Video's TM-8304 are integrated. CMS provides the
functions to manage the DVRs as sub-servers.
At UniSVR, we continue to develop and
enhance our solutions with constantly changing IT and multimedia
technology advancements available. CMS V.2.4 will provide better
