Q1:

What should be noticed when the device is proceeded to add, remove or update setting?

A:

When multiple persons proceed to add, remove or update device which data may not be synchronized in short time, please avoid multiple persons to maintain the same device at the same time.

 

Q2:

What is the time to add or update alarm detection setting?

A:

When the device is added or updated its alarm detection setting, the device should be connected to the system. If the device is not connected to the system, the setting data will not be saved.

 

Q3:

Whether the recording backup path setting will be impacted by the path length or not on the screen?

A:

It is recommended the recording backup path length is less than 60 bytes in camera image setting. If it is more than 60 bytes, the screen can not display all but without impact to the operation.

 

Q4:

When the NAT setting has been changed, what the system setting and control panel to operate in coordination?

A:

If the IP address and port number is changed in NAT setting for networking, you need to update these two setting (IP address and port number) in the Admin program. Please restart the CMS / CVS control panel or CMS / CVS server after updating.

 

Q5:

Which device is provided with Audio support and can be coordinated with DNSSet setting?

A:

(1) DCS-2121、DCS-2102、DCS-2120AX and DCS-2120BX can provide audio support.

(2) The DNSSet supports Pixord series devices and must operate in coordination with the devices.

 

Q6:

How to select the camera after 64th in Web Monitor program?

A:

It is the 64 pieces cameras limitation to select by digit button in Web Monitor. Please select camera from draw down list at the right side of digit button if more than 64 pieces cameras.

 

Q7:

What is the time that Administrator can update the user account relevant parameter?

A:

Please make sure the user has not log on to modify her/his time restriction parameter.

 

Q8:

What should be noticed to input the phone number when you create or update the user account?

A:

When administrator inputs the user account phone number, please add one more digit than the original number. Example: If the phone number is 8 digits, you need to put one more digit as 8+1 digits.

 

Q9:

What is the relation between user account and its group?

A:

Each account belongs to at least one assigned group that cam make the account setting successfully. The account name is restricted not to duplicate.

 

Q10:

Can NTSC and PAL different format camera be connected into the same HikVision device (Video Server or DVR)?

A:

It is not suggested you to set HikVision camera to connect both NTSC and PAL different format camera to avoid the green screen comes up.
