Public Industrial Oilfield Surveillance System

Need

1. Oilfield is vast, needs video surveillance at each drill.

2. Real time video surveillance and record videos to DVR.

3. Videos transmit to monitor center by radio wave.

4. Notification send to technician when DVR has problem

Solution

A dual-layer network was built: first layer contained cameras and DVR, second layer was the monitor center.  The video stored in DVR and sent to radio wave transmitter.  The video then sent to monitor center by wired network.

• Monitor each DVR’s operation, when abnormality is detected, notification is sent to technician.
• Remote monitoring and play back, each individual video source is only available to authorized user.
• Monitor center backup the video, the system support RAID to protect the video record.
