Most cars around the world have the standard OBD-II interface nowadays. With the OBD-II interface, one can get the sensor data and the diagnostic result from the onboard computer of the car.

Car maintenance plants have a special computer to read and interpret the OBD-II data. Car lovers can access the data with their smartphone too, through a consumer Bluetooth OBD-II adapter.
